【道听途说】洲际酒店皇家大使与大使级别福利将显著改进？

牧羊场曾经向大家介绍过洲际酒店（IHG）独特的皇家大使（Royal Ambassdor）以及大使（Ambassdor）级别：

“针对InterContinental洲际这个品牌，IHG有单独的会员计划叫作大使（Ambassador）计划。IHG的大使计划是为数不多需要用钱（或积分）来购买的高级会员资格，200美金或32,000分可以获得12个月的Ambassador会员资格，200美金或32,000分+IHG75晚有效入住（包括最少3家IC，最少30晚IC）+满足入住要求后收到IHG邀请之后可以获得Royal Ambassador皇家大使资格。购买大使会员资格后，可以获得1晚洲际酒店周末住一送一免房券以及5000分，所以200美金/32,000分还算比较值得的。

皇家大使会员在付费（积分房和免房券兑换都是YMMV）入住IC时可以享受升套房，免费早餐，延迟退房等待遇（据读者反映升房同样是YMMV…..IHG傲娇可见一斑）不过至少可以保证升一级房型。皇家大使可以保证的另一大福利是付费入住洲际酒店可以免费享受Mini bar，对于喜欢小酌一下的常客来说确实是不错的福利。但是大使/皇家大使入住IHG其他品牌时并不能保证待遇（真的很奇葩有没有…）”

目前，有消息透露，洲际酒店这两个大使计划的福利将有显著改进。此消息来源于flyertalk，并且是从中国大陆的酒店泄露出来。

Royal Ambassador benefits starting on February 1

  • 10AM guaranteed check in (currently 8AM)
  • Complimentary restaurant breakfast for one (currently none)
  • Complimentary restaurant breakfast for two if no lounge (currently none)
  • $50 per day minibar credit and up to $200 per stay (currently unlimited minibar beverage consumption)

自2019年2月1日起，皇家大使级别福利更新如下：

  1. 保证十点check-in 入住（现在为八点）
  2. 免费单人早餐（现在没有）
  3. 若无lounge，免费双人早餐（现在没有）
  4. 每天$50 minibar credit，最多每次入住可以获得 $200 （现在是无限量的）
  5. 免resort或者destination fees （现在需要支付）
  6. 免费周末房券（现在就有）
  7. 大使福利保证

大使福利保证

第一，升房失败：送$50 Spa券或者10000积分

第二，下午四点退房失败：送$50 Spa券或者10000积分

第三，Club InterContinental 或者 Club InterContinental 经验失败：送 SPA券或者 $100 （仅限皇家大使会员）

【牧羊场点评】

  1. 入住时间推后是福利下降。
  2. 不能在minibar一直喝酒也是福利下降。
  3. $50 SPA券可能换不了什么。
  4. 单早是一个好福利。
  5. 如果没有lounge，双早也不错。

以后是不是要去找那些没有lounge的InterContinental酒店?
